Interview
First round was a phone interview, was mostly asked about my resume. There was just one problem solving question. After that was asked to give an computer test in a test center. Questions were similar to those posted by other users and those found on careercup. This was a really long test.
After abt two weeks was invited to their campus for inperson interview. The night before the interview got to have dinner with one of the epic employees along with another candidates. This was a very informal interview we u can ask about how working in epic in general is. The guy who took us to dinner was a project manager at Epic and didnt know much about the onsite interview details.
For the onsite interview as soon as u arrive at Epic u are greeted by a HR who will most likely be doin your wrapup interview before u leave Epic. She gave each of us a schedule of the days program which will include campus overview, software overview, taking with one of the senior developers about their work, a case study interview, lunch with an employee where u ll be asked to explain some of your work, an interview where u have to present one of your development projects, couple more tests and finally an HR wrap-up interview after the end of which u are handed another 2 minute test. The process overall was exhausting. At the end of one interview you are taken to another without any breaks. Epic has an amazing campus which u get to see on the tour, only problem i see is the technology that u ll be working on are pretty much useless outside the company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Since they use an internal programming language (MUMPS/CACHE) and you are not expected to know these, questions focussed on giving a scenario and seeing how you try to come up with a solution.

I got a call for on site interview. On that day there was a small campus tour, followed by 2 presentations from epic employees.
2. This was followed by my project presentation where I had to choose on of my projects and give an informal presentation. This was followed by lunch.
3. Next was HR session where I was asked usual questions like would u choose epic over other companies etc. At the end there was a 2 minute test where I had to solve as many questions as I can.
4. This was followed by a math test with 14 questions, a new programming language test with 20 multiple choice questions, followed by a programming test in which there were 4 programming questions.

Interview
I filled out the online personality test, and had a phone interview. The interviewer described the position and what he did for the company. The person interviewing me seemed disinterested and was just reading from a set of stock questions. When asked what my salary expectations were I said I expected to be compensated fairly based on my position and the work I would be doing. The interviewer repeatedly pressed me for a specific number despite any other statements on my part which was uncomfortable.
