I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Apr 2012
Interview
I applied via the online job site for Epic. After about a week I recieved an IQ Intelligence exam in my email. That exam took about 30 minutes. A few days later I got an email from a recruiter asking me to set up a phone interview. During the phone interview, I was asked about my high school SAT scores and GPA. I was a little confused seeing as I graduated college. There wasn't one typical interview questions asked, only about myself and if I had any questions.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Nov 2011
Interview
Nothing technical. Have no idea why to be rejected. The recruiter just read some materials, like their mass product, their market share, working space. Nothing special. Double check with my GPA, my immigration status. Everything sounds good. We have a good talk. So confused. After that, I know actually, they do not like social-able guys their. They are quite a conservative company.

Interview
Sent a quick resume with no cover letter pretty randomly. Got an email a few days later to go online and fill out a form. Phone interview was scheduled and the developer I spoke to was very nice. Had lots of information about the products and the culture. Took the test at a local center. It took me over 3 hours to complete. Most of the questions are variations on the same problems you have probably seen in college. I was a little rusty and couldn't come up with the last answer (4 programming test total) and probably spent too much time trying to figure it out. Got an email about a week later with the standard sorry we are not interested. Fair enough. Only thing is I probably spent 6 - 7 hours on this, a phone call would have been nice or perhaps some more meaningful feedback. I would say this of most places not just EPIC.
