I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic in Feb 2012
Interview
Got the interview with the university career center website. I applied online and was contacted with a HR person. Then I was asked to take a timed skills assesment/ IQ test, but it was really easy. Then a week later I was contacted by a current project manager, who conducted a phone interview. It was very explain your resume esque. Not hard at all. Then they asked me to take another test. Never heard back after that. I assume I didn't make the cut.
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Feb 2012
Interview
I applied to Epic through a job board. Shortly after, they contacted me to take a Personality test. Pretty basic questions. A week or so after that, I was notified that I would be having a phone interview. It was pretty generic questions (goes over resume, asks how it applies to epic position, maybe a few other questions). It lasted 15 minutes tops. A week or two after that I was contacted with the opportunity to go for an on-site interview at Epic. All of the accommodations were top notch and they have a very streamlined process to make sure you get everywhere you need to go on time and on Epic's dime. The dinner with an employee the prior night was pretty relaxed and casual. They did a great job of answering any questions. The next day was spent almost entirely at Epic (From 8 AM to 4 PM). You receive a mini tour of their huge campus as well as a demonstration of their product. As for the actual interviewing portion there were 2 one-on-one interviews, a case study, 3 skill assessments, a presentation, and a 2-minute "prep" test. All-in-all it was a long day, but everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Question 1
How do you deal in times where your patience is tested?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Feb 2012
Interview
The process is very streamlined as they interview TONS of people. Like most people have said, first comes a personality test, then a phone interview, more tests, and an onsite interview consisting of one on one interviews (I had four seperate ones) and also a presentation that you prepare before you come. The onsite interview day was very long and exhausting (I was there for over 8 hours) and you talk to many different employees. When you are there they try to make you feel like an individual but there are so many recruits there it is hard to believe anybody gets hired. Overall, I think it was a great experience, but the company does seem kind of cultish and has a culture almost like a college or university.
