The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2010
Interview
They contacted me after seeing my resume at a career fair. I applied formally through their site for the "project manager" position since that is what most interested me and suits my skills best, but they contacted me and scheduled an phone interview for the "technical services position". The descriptions are almost the same, so I went ahead with the interview. The interview went by smoothly, he asked the usual questions (tell me about yourself, why us, what do you see yourself doing now/future, how much traveling can you do...ect). It became clear to the interviewer that I'm better suited to the program manager position I initially applied for, expecially since I didn't have the programing knowledge necessary for technical services. He said he'd relay my application to the relevant people when the interview was over. About a week later I got an email saying that I didn't get the position, and nothing was mentioned about the PM position. If I were to do it again, and advice others to do, would be to ask why they were interviewing me for a position that I do not have the qualifications for and correct before the interview.
