Interview
Started with a phone screen with a full-time UX designer, then did a take-home design challenge. After that, I was invited to an in-person interview where I did a case study interview with a full-time UX designer and a final behavioral interview with a recruiter.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Apr 2024
Interview
1st Stage: 30-minute Zoom call with a recruiter and other candidates—presentation about the company, different teams, location, and benefits.
2nd Stage: Behavioral Assessment (Rembrandt). Took about 20 minutes to complete.
3rd Stage: Skill Assessment (Examity). 4 sections
1. 10 questions, answer as many as you can within 2 minutes,
2. Math (20 questions, timed, no time limit),
3. Made up programming language to test how good you are at learning new programming language (20 questions),
4. Coding (4 questions, can use any language)
4th Stage: On-Site Interview
- 1-hour company overview + benefits
- 1-hour interview with a team member
- 1-hour interview with hiring manager
- 1-hour meeting with HR (benefits, salary expectation, relocation)
- Optional dinner with an employee

Interview
First there is a phone call interview where they just tell you about the role and Madison, then there’s an assessment to take about logic, math, and coding (no need to study), and a final interview lasting 4-5 hours with a presentation, more role introductions, and hr interview about behavior
