The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Aug 2010
Interview
The process is pretty elaborate. There is first one phone interview which is then followed by a written test normally in a public library in whichever city you are staying in. This test comprises of Logical Reasoning, Math and Programming sections. This is followed by an onsite interview which is one day. There is an HR introduction and this is followed by detailed interviews in technical as well as HR.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Mar 2010
Interview
I was contacted via email about the company. Applied for AV Technician and Customer Service. A couple of weeks later, I got an email regarding phone interview. The interview was about 20 minutes, with the recruiter telling me that I should apply for Windows System Integrator rather than AV Tech, and I did.
Two weeks later, I received another email about an entry "exam" that I'm required to do, consisting of three parts - Math, English, and MUMPS. The MUMPS part is Programming 101. Several days after the test, I received another email regarding travel arrangement for an on-site interview at their campus. Flew there, met two employees whom took us (a group of six) out for dinner and a walking tour of Madison. I found out later from their employees that they flew in at least 20 people everyday, mostly college seniors with high GPA.
