Online assessment was really weird, had four different sections and took overall 2 hours. One section was LC style questions, but there were no test cases so couldn't event debug.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe something you accomplished that you're proud of.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Sep 2024
Interview
Sent an application to the job listing, then had an online technical assessment that took about 90 minutes. Also had a 15 minute phone conversation with an employee. Both the online assessment and the phone conversation were scheduled after the initial application was accepted.

Question 1
Describe a previous software project that you have completed and the tools you used to make it.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Oct 2024
Interview
About 3-4 hours of online assessments before the phone screening. One was a psychological assessment which included a handful of logic questions. The next was a strange IQ test + coding questions, with 4 sections:
-2 minutes to do 10 math questions (really hard to complete since many were word problems)
-Math
-Leetcode-style coding questions
-Introduces rules of a coding language then quizzes you on the implications of those rules.
What's really odd is that the last 3 sections have no time limit, but the time is recorded, so it's hard to decide whether you should take your time double checking all answers, or rush through it. By the end of the coding section (~3 questions) I was too exhausted to go back over my answers. They don't let you take breaks in the middle of a section.
The "math" section is also deceptively named. There are some questions on there that are just riddles that require no math. Frustrating.
The phone interview was better. Instead of talking to a recruiter you talk to someone in your role, which was refreshing and made it easier to relax. Be prepared to talk thoroughly about your best project.
