I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Referred by a current employee to apply for the position. Received an email from HR within 24 hours of my submitted application looking to schedule a brief phone interview. Confirmed availability and had a 30 minute phone interview with a current employee in the Technical Services field. Interviewer asked questions regarding my education and professional experience as well as some standard interview questions (Why do you want to work for Epic? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?). Overall, very easy-going conversation and seemed more like a phone screening than anything. I was told to expect information from the original HR contact about completing upcoming assessment and personality tests. Received email within two days of the phone interview about when and how to take tests. The interviewer explained that once the tests are complete, the final step in the interview process (if they decide to move me forward) will be an all day, on-site interview on the company's campus.
Currently, the tests have been scheduled but have not yet been completed.

Question 1
Regarding the healthcare side of Epic, what are you interested in learning more about?
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Applied through university recruiting. Within a couple weeks was contacted for a phone interview. This was very informational, conversational, and I've heard they (like most companies) are mostly interested in the questions you ask them and that you demonstrate legitimate interest. Within a few days following the phone interview, was asked to take a skills assessment. It took nearly 3 hours, so not my favorite, but it was problem solving in the area that I like so it wasn't terrible. A few days after I took the skills assessment I was invited on site. My onsite interview lasted from about 10 til 2. It was mostly fun stuff, with a technical case study interview thing and an HR wrap-up/interview. The campus was beautiful, the employees were friendly, the food was fabulous.

If you were given multiple offers, how would you decide between them? (unexpected)

Interview
I received an email from a recruiter telling me I should look at this position. I did and then sent in my resume. Heard back pretty soon afterwards to set up a phone interview. Super chill phone interview. More of a get to know you than anything else. Then I heard back (again, pretty quickly), to take a skill assessment tests. It was pretty intense. I hated the timed part. And the CS assessment was pretty intense and I've programed before! They emailed me a little later for the on-site interview. It was pretty great. The food and the campus is pretty spectacular. Make sure you're nice, engaged and ask lots of questions! I'm pretty sure every one you meet fills out an assessment of you, so be on top of it all day. I'm waiting to hear back and its been a week.
