I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process is very straightforward. The stages are: submitting your application, phone interview, skills assessment, on-site interview, offer. I never went more than a week between any of these stages and hearing from Epic. The longest amount of time between any of the stages actually happening was between my assessment and my on-site due to personal scheduling. This process was very neatly laid out and Epic was in constant contact with me. I rarely had any questions about the process itself, and if I had, then they would have been answered within a day.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Describe a difficult situation you encountered while working as part of a team and how you approached it.
Basic interview questions, also had to do a skills test. The test was quite difficult because the time was limited, but the interview was easy. The person who interviewed me was polite and friendly.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic in Mar 2018
Interview
Had a phone interview with a member of the company. I was not a big fan of the phone interview felt like it was entirely based on how well you and the company members views aligned. Would make sense for a small company. Not for a company as large as epic where I likely never would really interact with the guy. I personally was not a big fan of how they weed out a lot of the candidates.
