Applied through college website, heard back promptly asking for phone interview. I scheduled my phone interview before my online assessment. I have no background in programming (although I am learning it on my own). Then, I had phone interview and online assessment through ProctorU. There was basic programming, some brainteasers etc.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Epic (Houston, TX) in Feb 2018

30 minute phone interview, talked about the role and asked about not having background in coding and interviewer said she didn't either when she started and the trained you.
Interview was very casual.

Interview
Onsite interview after a phone call and online skill assessment. During the onsite interview, you get to the Epic campus early in the morning, listen to a presentation, have lunch with an Epic employee, and have one more skill assessment by answer some multiple choice questions.
