Low grade HR recruiter who have no clue for what they are hiring or what DevOps is? HR tags them selves as "where you work matter" however it should be where your work matters. HR conduct hiring drive to showcase to US cloud technology head that Expedia India is conducting biggest hiring drive and candidates are in row. HR calls any grade candidate. No idea what's candidate current position designation. When I asked whats the profile answer was leader or higher end. When reached at Expedia office it was starter. HR recruiter needs to educate themselves first.

I asked for profile
Got the profile matching my skillset
Then after a week later on 3rd November 2017 morning I was asked to come for interview as some cloud technology head has come to India. I was doubtful at first then thought it happens as I am in a startup so head/vp/founder directly interview candidates. So I said I can be only available for an hour.
OK HR Got your point I asked for Designation on the call I heard it is same as my current.
I am ok with that too lets move.
I went for interview as Expedia office is near to my current office.
I then received a mail after saying that its for junior profile than what I have at present.
LOL are you guys serious. When I asked HR do I have direct interview with head they said no.
Now I was able to conclude that they are only creating a scene there that India office of Expedia is too busy and rushy all the time with interview in cloud domain.
Lol.. that is real Expedia.
HR guys common grow up. If you do not care about your productivity it does not mean that others are free and do not waste time of candidates. We have no such time to come and waste time at your office like you people do. I am sure you guys do not have work and only interested in wasting time of others.
Advise to Expedia: INDIA Expedia HR team is one of the low grade team I have ever experienced in my 10+ years of career. Such a waste. Hope you guys will take some action.
