Expedia Group Marketing Manager interview questions

I had 2 rounds of interviews, first from the HR, second with the direct manager. The HR interview was fairly routine, nothing out of the ordinary - standard questions about my job history, education, skills, why I was interested in Expedia, what I could offer, etc. The only thing that I felt uncomfortable about was the focus on the prestige of my university and the brand of my previous company. It came off as a bit shallow and I wish they cared less about these things given that I wasn't a fresh graduate, and focused more on my actual qualifications and skills. The 2nd interview with the direct manager was quite tough - a lot of questions specific to the industry and she also asked me several scenario questions to see how I would approach and resolve the problem.

6-7 rounds, the phone screen is important since if they don't believe you are in the range, I got the feeling you would be up-leveled to another senior role if available, or the process would end there
