Extra Space Storage interview questions

Lengthy interview process, 4 total interviews before being told you're not a candidate. The entire process took over 2 weeks. Not a great experience. Each person I talked to couldn't really describe next steps outside of there being "more interviews".

The interviewer started off by asking about my salary expectations and seemed reluctant to provide the company's salary range. Once they shared the salary range, I let them know that it was not competitive enough compared to similar roles in the area. They gave excuses on why it was not and blatantly stated it was their job to know the competitive salaries in the area. I advised that I was no longer interested. They seemed very judgmental and did not seem at all interested in any experience you have, but rather whether they could pay you a low enough wage.
