I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FDM Group (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2017
Interview
Got called by a recruiter, arranged a later telephone interview. Passed that, and invited for an assessment centre. Consisted of watching their presentation, and 4 exams exams. Passed the exams. You then have 3 interviews, where they ask you questions about how you react in certain situations. Didn't pass the interview. The day was too long in my opinion.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group in Oct 2017
Interview
I applied for the programme online and received an email from a recruiter the same day asking me to call at my earliest convenience to discuss my application.
I called the following Monday and had to call several times before the recruiter answered. She asked me a few questions about why I wanted to work for FDM and then gave me some specifics of the job such as salary and role expectations. At the end of the call she said she would review my application and CV further and call me back the next day.
I received no communication on Tuesday and decided to send a quick email on Wednesday just to say I was looking forward to discussing the programme further and received a call back within minutes. The recruiter then told me I was being invited to do a video interview and explained the details of how that will work and also told me that it would be a strengths-based interview even though all the information on their website indicates it will be a competency-based interview. They give you three days from the invitation to complete the video interview on the site they send in an email.
I did the online interview on the second day (Friday) and it consisted of 6 questions that would test you against 4 of their 8 core values. The site walks you through setting up your camera and microphone to get the best quality video and then allows you to answer a test question, but does not allow you to readjust the settings after watching your test video. During my answer to the second question there was a malfunction with the site that caused my web cam to flash on and off resulting in the video flashing light and dark the entire time I was attempting to answer. It did not continue through the other questions, but I don't know if the audio was also affected so after I finished I sent an email to the recruiter telling her what had happened and that if it affected their ability to review my interview I would be happy to try it again. I received no response to this email and two working days later received an email from the recruiter that I had been unsuccessful in my application. They did not give any feedback on what had made me unsuccessful.
Thank you for your feedback. On behalf of the recruitment team, I apologise for the inconvenience you experienced. We would like to give you the opportunity to re-take the video interview. Please contact me directly by emailing Jeffery.Lovejoy@fdmgroup.com
