Interview was an initial phone screening with hiring manager, talking about the position and my background. Then, couple weeks later, I have gone through a virtual interview, basically two rounds of interview sessions. One was about technical skills and my previous projects. The other was about behavioral questions. It seems the company has a lot more focus on your behavioral aspect.

Question 1
Technical presentation about my studies (thesis) and follow-up questions, why I choose the model and other quantitative modeling questions. I think the questions can be different for candidates' experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Istambul) in May 2020
Interview
I applied through their site. 1st round was with the HR and team leads. We walked through my resume and ask several questions about ML. One of the team lead attitude was really bad. Then they send me case study about sales forecasting and then I presented it within one week. The department manager was quite positive and liked my coding style and study. Then one week later, a meeting with CMO was organized. It was still WORST experience ever, the guy really did not know any about how to communicate with the candidate. He believes that candidate are slaves and we cannot have any opinion. At the first 20 min, I tried to stay positive but then I couldn't. Because, he was like you should do over time whenever I ask, you cannot have any personal life, you are my slave. Then, I said I cannot work such environment and their feedback to me was our culture is different.

Interview
1 Hr interview followed by 1 technical interview and 1 interview by the director. Was pretty easy compared to tech companies such as FB or Google. Questions were mostly surrounding my experience and my current projects. NO coding or Case study type questions.
