I applied online. I interviewed at Four Seasons (Kailua Kona, HI) in Apr 2023
Interview
I applied for a line cook position at one of the restaurants at the hotel. I went through 4 stages in the interview process. - First, with the chef at the restaurant I applied for, who wanted to learn more about my experience and knowledge in the field. - Second, with HR and the more generic interview questions and process that is typical in the interview process. - Third, the General Manager of that hotel location was more personable than HR but still had some repetitive questions. This part of the process was more detailed about my moving to the island and finding housing, cars, etc. - Fourth, was the final one with a manager of some sort just basically trying to see what my personality is like. Shortly after he offered me the job and said that HR would contact me in the next few days.
