This was terrific, I love modeling Raphael Nadal. Mobile games are boring, this place seems like a meat grinder. Maybe if I were a poor French international student it may be better than picking beets.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gameloft (Montreal, QC) in Jan 2017
Interview
They sent a test. After I passed out I had a quick simple interview that I passed. Then reached out whenever they needed extra help. They did that periodically over a year or 2.

Question 1
How did you build the motion designs you made for the test?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gameloft (Cidade de Ho Chi Minh) in Jul 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter of the Ho Chi Minh City branch of Gameloft on LinkedIn, she then set up an interview call with me on Zoom.
After the interview I was given a task with a 5 day time limit in which I had to design a button for a feature, then design a playable prototype, in Figma, for an updated menu system (for a game that I was asked to download). I was also asked to create a Unity build of the new menu system which would scale to all mobile platforms.
I completed the task and ensured that it my submission was well documented with PDF documents describing my process for each of the tasks.
After submitting, the recruiter didn't reply to any of my messages for 2 days and did not confirm receipt of the submission except for a "nice" 2 days later on LinkedIn.
7 days after the submission, the recruiter sent me a message on LinkedIn stating: "we regret to inform you that the test is not good qualifified" (sic).
Candidates deserve more than a short, misspelt sentence as feedback for a 5 day task in which you complete work without being paid.
I am not salty about not being considered for the post, but I am disappointed that while I was asked to complete 5 days worth of work, they could not even be bothered to give a more complete and detailed feedback than "not good qualifified".
