I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google
Interview
45-minute product interview (phone) then 3 on-site interviews - 2 product, 1 technical interview (possible algorithm implementation, depends somewhat on your own technical background and how reasonable it would be for you to be able to answer certain programming questions without using pseudocode

Question 1
how would you use user location data to improve google maps?
Good process overall. First 1 on 1 with a PM, then onsite. Onsite consisted of 3 interviews, one technical, one product design, one "strategy". The strategy portion came with one estimation question. Technical was somewhat unexpectedly tricky. Not hard per se, but unexpected enough to be challenging.

Question 1
Some were expected PM questions, others were a bit of the unexpected "old Google" questions with no real answer to them
It was very nice and the interviewer made me feel super comfortable. It was more of an informal talk rather than an interview. The questions were very much what I expected after doing some research online, very general and product based.

Question 1
I was asked to pick some technical products I love and then one was chosen to discuss more in depth, like usability, hardware, targeted users, improvements etc.
