I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Great Clips (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2016
Interview
The atmosphere was lukewarm. There are 2 locations in Charlotte. One I called and left messages for the manger twice and never got a return call. The receptionist was rude. The other location had a hiring sign on the door, yet was vague when the position would be filled. I was told that I would be called in for a test cut, but never got the call. Did not appear to be a diverse team.

Question 1
About my experience. Could I cut all ethnicities and work experience. How long had I been cutting hair?
We are sorry that this was your experience. Please email Jeanne@greatclips.com with the salon locations and details. We will then forward it to the franchisee so they are aware of your experience and can follow up with you. Thank you for your feedback.
Other Hair Dresser/Stylist/Barber Interview Reviews for Great Clips
It was super relaxed for the most part. They mostly asked questions about my background and previous customer experience jobs. How I handled certain situations, why or why not I'd be a good fit. Standard interview stuff,

We appreciate you sharing the interview process! Thank you for the feedback.
They did an in person interview and a technical interview, it wasn't too hard of an interview process. The technical is intimidating at first but its not too bad and the manager was friendly.

I applied online. I interviewed at Great Clips (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
I got an immediate call after applying online. A recruiter took me out for coffee and a quick chat. They offer a lot training so they focus more on advertising what your job could be like if you accept the job offer.
