I was very excited that a week after I applied via Linked In that I got contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone interview for a product manager position. I researched and prepared like crazy for the phone interview as I have wanted to work for this company for a long time. The day of the interview came and they decided to not call me for my interview. I emailed the recruiter to let her know that I never received a phone call for my interview but I never got a response. Unprofessional and a waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Groupon in Jul 2013
Interview
Applied on website right and was contacted that same day to set up a phone interview. On phone interview asked general questions about my work background. Then asked questions about what I thought groupon was and how my current experience could be related. Interview was very friendly. At the end salary was brought up, and it was way under what I was currently making. Once interviewer heard this politely ended interview and said they would keep my information on file.
