Phone interview with MWD coordinator. A few days later setup an in person interview after passing the first screening process. In person interview was informal, mostly interested in previous oil and gas field work experience. Emphasis on handling safety issues in the field and willingness to work in the field.

Interview
Process included a technical phone screen (drilling concepts, tool knowledge), followed by a panel interview with field scenarios and safety questions. Practical problem-solving and teamwork focus. Delays in scheduling, but interviewers were supportive and industry-experienced.

Single on site interview discussing prior oilfield experience. Straightforward process involving a few Halliburton representatives. Callback from Halliburton (Sperry Drilling Services at the time) came the following day with offer.
