Henkel interview questions

Initially submitted resume at campus career fair. Invited back for on campus interview with HR manager in charge of campus recruiting. Interviewer was pleasant,extremely likable, and very personable. Then accepted for a plant trip about a month later. Plant trip consisted of three, one-hour interviews with plant manager, business department manager and associated maintainence manager, and engineering manager. Lunch consisted of "hidden" interview with young engineer, HR manager, and another business unit manager. Afternoon consisted of 30 minute plant tour.

Applied on line and immediately received an automated receipt of application. A week later I was invited to a telephone interview with HR. About an hour of thoughtful questions clarifying my background and getting to know my personality. Three days later vial email I was invited to speak to the hiring manager. Because the position was in Germany and I am currently located in the states, we set up another phone interview. The interview lasted 90 minutes and again the questions were well thought out and pertained directly to my resume and online entries. The manager was looking not only for someone capable of doing the job, but one that would fit into the team and that would be satisfied within the constraints of the job description. Although I was not invited to the third phase - the assessment center - both experiences were very positive. The people I had contact with, both in email and on the phone were genuine and courteous. They are definitely looking for the right person for the job, company culture and the team culture.
