The Accenture interview process for freshers and lateral hires generally consists of a 4-stage, 2-4 week process involving an online assessment (cognitive, technical, and coding), a communication assessment, and combined technical/HR interviews. Key focus areas include technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and cultural fit
I attended an onsite technical interview at Infosys for a software engineer role. The technical round covered c#, .net and database related concepts. The discussion was detailed and focused on practical understanding rather than just theory.
Immediately after the onsite interview, HR verbally confirmed my selection in person. They discussed compensation, benefits, and onboarding timeline, and assured me that I would receive the official offer letter the following week.
However, despite multiple follow-up emails over the following weeks, I did not receive any further communication or response.
The technical interview experience was positive, but the post-selection communication was disappointing.

The interview process was well-structured and organized. Each round focused on different aspects of the role, including technical knowledge, problem-solving approach, and practical experience. The interviewers were calm, patient, and gave me enough time to explain my answers clearly. They asked relevant questions and encouraged discussion, which made the interaction comfortable and professional.
