Intercontinental Exchange Sr. Software Engineer interview questions

Got a message on linkdin recruiter requesting me if i am interested in a position to be considered. I replied yes. Then he sent me two questions to give solutions to. Solutions were complex enough as he also asked to write test cases and consider the assumptions he specified. I took my time around 6 hrs and gave him the solutions in really peak times. He wanted the solutions at earliest. After this, i got email from them saying, would like to schedule a call interview. (Apparently, solutions were satisfying). Then he asked me to apply officially to their posting and sent me the link. I spent another 30 mins filling up all details. And, morning i got email saying, i am not considered for the position because of my qualifications. (I have grad degree and not only undergrad in IT). If i am not qualified on the first hand, why the hell you asked me to spend 6-7 hrs of my time solving your problems? Advise to H1 folks: if employer doesn't ask if you need sponsorship, better you ask them before spending any time giving the assessments.

One of the worst interview experiences in my entire career. A lot of behavioral interview questions which were I believe unrelated to the position description and my experience. On my previous jobs I interviewed a lot of people myself. But here I'm not even able to say where it's going to and what do they want to hear from candidates.
