Intercontinental Exchange interview questions

I received an email asking if I'm available for a short phone interview the very next day, and what time I'd be available otherwise. I suggested a different time, but added that I would make arrangements to come at their preferred time if the one i suggested didn't work for them. No response. I spent the entire day waiting. Why suggest an interview with such short notice, and then vanish? What a way to waste someones time.
