It was a pretty bad process. Wasn’t timely and had many diff interview rounds that I wasn’t expecting . Talked to like 5 different ppl from various departments. Had two more rounds of interviews after that
Interview process is really long, at least in my case. I met with 5 or 6 different individuals across 10 meetings who all asked me the same questions from a script. Honestly this is probably an awesome place to work from what I can tell, but I turned down this offer because the interview process wore on me and I had a different offer that seemed to be a better fit for me with the benefit of more salary.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't remember any questions specifically. Most were generic with the exception of one interviewer who asked something rather specific.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Invenergy (Denver, CO) in Nov 2020
Interview
First interview was 30 minutes with HR; essentially a pre-screening. Second interview was with two women I would have been officing with, one a manager and the other a peer, and lasted an hour. This interview was pleasant, but it was also obvious that the two women had not spoken to each other beforehand as they repeated the exact same list of questions twice. Could have been cut to 30 minutes. Third interview was with a male manager in the Chicago office. This interview was less pleasant. I answered all of his questions and we laughed, but at the close of the interview he gave the impression he felt that I had "used his precious time inappropriately". It was a complete flip-flop in the last 30 seconds. After that I never heard from them again. I contacted two different HR people multiple times inquiring about next steps and never even received a response. I spent over 6 weeks interviewing with them and they couldn't be bothered to take 5 minutes to state whether they had continued interest in my employment or not. Extremely rude and unprofessional.
