I applied online. I interviewed at Invenergy in Oct 2017
Interview
Easy phone interview, during which I was asked only 2 questions: "Why Invenergy?" and "So what do you think this position actually is?" I was then told to ask questions for the remaining two-thirds of the interview time. I was offered a final round interview at the Chicago headquarters, which I scheduled. I later received an email that the recruiters had actually already selected a candidate to whom they were going to extend an offer, and they cancelled my interview without even bothering to give me a chance.

Interview
A couple weeks after applying, I received an email asking to set up a short phone interview with the recruiter. That took less than 30 minutes and was primarily about my interests and why I applied to Invenergy. A couple weeks later they brought me in for a in-person interview. It was formal and I interviewed with 4 sets of people in a row (some individuals and some pairs) who all worked on the renewables team. Then a couple weeks later I was asked to meet with one more manager from the team and we met at a coffee shop. After that I was told I would hear back from them in a couple weeks. However, at that deadline I asked how long it would take and they said another week. I waited and they still didn't get back to me. I waited for a total of 5 weeks and then told them I needed to hear because of another offer and they sent me a rejection email.

Interview
Initial call was from the recruiter who gave a preliminary interview. Within days, I had a second interview with the O&M Manager. Third interview came days later; phone interview with Regional Manager. Fourth interview was also phone interview with Accounting Manager. Total time from initial interview to job offer was appx 3 weeks. I understand the need for so many as I handle money and sensitive information. All interviewers were very courteous and asked detailed, relevant questions
