The process took 2 days. I interviewed at KBR (Houston, TX) in Jan 2009
Interview
I was hired in straight from college so the interview process was somewhat typical. KBR came to my school's campus to do a 1 on 1 interview. After that session was complete, I was invited to the KBR office to do a series of what they call "round robin" interview. This is basically a chance to have several KBR employees interview you in short segments so a combined decision can be made. After completing this step, I received a phone call asking if I would be interested in taking a position higher than what I was interviewing for. I accepted.

Question 1
All of these candidates are in your same boat. Everyone is being interviewed straight from college with reasonably comparable internships. Why are you more qualified to be in the position than the other 300 people we've interviewing?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KBR in Nov 2009
Interview
Manager asked for my resume; he wrote updated job description, resume grading tools and submitted to HR. Job was posted internally and I applied. Only one applied and based off the resume grading job was offered. If there was more than one passing score then a 3 person panel ( HR rep that has no clue, Hiring manager, and then a neutral manager that the hiring manager picks...) Yes, it is all friend of friends with contracting in Iraq...
