I was sourced by KCC’s recruiting team as a passive candidate for an HR leadership role. As someone who understands the importance of the candidate experience and have seen this process managed effectively at other companies, I found the candidate experience with KCC to be a disappointment. I believe KCC is a good company, but they certainly do not do anything to create a positive candidate experience. The process is lengthy, slow, and fraught with delays. There is no proactive follow up with the candidate. In the absence of any communication and long delays, I was surprised when contacted to continue through a series of multiple phone interviews. It’s really too bad, because KCC has such an incredible opportunity to create an unforgettable experience.
