It was smooth and good. They made the process easy and I got the job in a timely manner because they told me all that needed to be told. So I would say it was quick and straight to the point.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at LA Fitness (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2021
Interview
They want you to do sales for a bit, then transfer to personal trainer. They had me there for about an hour. Mostly talked with their sales team and they ask you to make a call and kind of test your confidence.

I applied online. I interviewed at LA Fitness in May 2021
Interview
I was told id be meeting with the VP via Skype at a nearby location. I showed up and instead was interviewed by someone who just sat and explained the job to me. IT WAS NOT what they said it would be online. I was so confused as to what information this guy was giving me that I requested to speak to the VP (who I was supposed to meet with anyway) for clarification. turns out this management position is Really a PT Counselor position which makes you "management" bc you're above the other PT's, but the pay is minimum wage. My interviewer was just scribbling things on a piece of paper and on his phone, not paying much attention to me. He did not even have my resume with him, he admittedly told me that he did not even take a look at my resume, so he had nothing to ask me. I told him I needed time to get my affairs in order and I would contact him. he did not proceed to give me any contact information.

Question 1
nothing. they don’t ask you anything about yourself. you're lucky if they even take a look at your resume. seems like they don’t care about who the candidate is, just about filling a job.
