I applied through college or university. I interviewed at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) (Bengaluru)
Interview
LSEG conducts on-campus hiring usually from July to September. It visited our college(NMIT Bengaluru) in September.
It offers a package of 11.1 LPA for an associate engineer role. Usually, it’s a one-day process, however, due to the festival in between, we were given a 4-day gap between the first round and the interviews.
First round:
Basic aptitude questions. I think 30 questions, not sure. I had all kinds of aptitude questions not in any order.
you will be shortlisted based on your results. In our college, 20 were shortlisted for the next round.
forthcoming all 3 rounds are non-elimination rounds, cumulative scores will be considered for selection.
2nd round:
Codding round. We had 3 questions given to solve in 1 hour. They were moderate-level questions. It included topics like string and dynamic programming. The key here is to get better approaches.
3rd round:
Group discussion. We were given a topic and had 30 minutes for this round. A topic that we discussed is cloud computing and scalability in banking systems. The key here is involvement, speaking abilities, and leadership skills.
4th round(Interview):
Firstly The interviewer was super chill and friendly. I was asked to discuss the approach to solving those 3 coding questions, which I had gotten during the coding round. Try giving him as many approaches as you can. Then basic coding questions were asked.
Topics related to oops and finance were asked later.
overall, Be yourself and confident during the whole process.
ALL THE BEST to all the juniors!!!!
