I received a request for an in-person first-round interview with the hiring manager around a week after applying. There was no recruiter screen, but the Recruiter asked me about my notice period and salary expectations but did not disclose the salary range for the role.
The interview with the hiring manager was a good conversation and gave me a good understanding of the LSEG business, a recent restructuring, and upcoming priorities. Three weeks later (and after chasing the Recruiter), I received a phone call from the Recruiter that they would not proceed with my application and feedback. Overall, I wish the team all the best and appreciate the feedback.
Two feedback points would be great to share as a candidate: firstly, it would have been great to have an online interview instead of in-person, and secondly, I would appreciate the Recruiter sharing the salary range for this position ahead of interviews.
