First Round consists of an online exam. It covers topics of Aptitude and Engineering Background.
It is necessary to clear all the three sections of Aptitude and Technical sections to qualify.
Personal Interview was moderate to tough. The Panel was supportive and encouraging.

Interview
L&T come to NIT Surat for heavy engineering and construction profile. Initially about 160 student from mechanical give aptitude test in which verbal, quant, technical questions was asked. After the interview they shortlisted around 55 students for the interview round. Interview is around 30 min long and there is 3 panel. So according to panel the questions is related to projects and some basic technical core subjects. For my case they ask me related to my internship and projects which I have done during my engineering. And also they asked some technical questions related to manufacturing process, production technology and basic questions related to welding. Finally they shortlisted about 14 student from mechanical. The interview result takes time avg 1 month.
