I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Interviewed with 2 separate recruiters by phone. The first recruiter was super professional and through in her explanation of the process and the types of questions I should be prepared to answer. The second interviewer was also professional, not as friendly and said she was concerned about my leadership experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Sydney) in Oct 2016
Interview
Excellent process - I am really impressed. Claudia first called me and went through a phone interview - she is genuine and was very interested to hear more about my experience. She had went through my resume in detail before calling me, this made me feel comfortable as I didn't feel like a number. I then interviewed with the Senior Manager and that went great - he had solid questions and also made time for me to ask questions too. After that, interviewed with a member in his team that asked lots of solid questions about my experience and it's relevance to this role. He also gave me a great insight into LinkedIn - explained what a great team and company he works for. Everyone that I spoke showed that they had great personality and passion. Claudia continuously gave me feedback throughout the process. Overall - what an awesome company to work for, I am totally convinced of that due to the people that I met.

Describe a difficult situation that you overcame in your team?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Dublin, Dublin) in Sep 2016
Interview
Initial call with hiring manager and recruiter, followed by phone call with hiring manager, followed by mock client presentation and interview onsite with hiring manager and team member,
I was disappointed that, following the progression to an in-person interview and mock client meeting, the communication that my application would not be taken further was via a generic email. My preference in these circumstances would be to have the decision communicated via phone, as this is a more human approach, and gives the candidate the opportunity to gain feedback
