I applied online. I interviewed at Mace (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2022
Interview
Interview process was very straightforward, with general questions you would receive in an interview, some may be more tailored to your answers given or just what they’ve seen from your experience on your cv. But overall great interview process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mace (Leeds, England) in Mar 2023
Interview
Initial telephone interview then follow up with 1-hour interview with team leader and someone from recruitment. They were friendly and informative, and also honest about how my lack of industry knowledge may impact my application. Asked multiple questions around showing experience in dealing with conflict in the work place, as well as standard questions around why I wanted to work for Mace. Even though I was referred by a current employee, and despite chasing 3 times, the person in HR never got back to me, which put a dampener on the experience.

Question 1
- Tell me a time when you've dealt with conflict in the workplace?
- Have you had to reprioritise your workload in order to meet a new deadline and in doing so missed a different project deadline? How did you handle this?

Interview
Great looking business with all the boxes ticked for sustainability, CSR, Charity organisations etc. Didn’t get the feeling it was a priority or believed in by the interviewer who was in a very senior role, put me off. The office felt very non-progressive. Got a great offer but didn’t take it.
