I had a short zoom interview, about 30 minutes. The interviewer was nice and asked pretty basic questions, mostly just trying to get to know me and my experience and the kinds of books I like to read.
It was SO easy--way easier than I thought!
Online via video chat and very basic questions. My interviewer was really nice (she's my current supervisor). I would definitely suggest to over-prepare. It was easy, but I was very confident because I expected it to be much harder.
Did it over Google Meets. It was overall pleasant. They seemed really enthusiastic about their department and mainly asked basic interview questions (tell me about yourself, why this department in particular, what kinds of books do you read and why, etc). I didnt get an offer, but they were very nice about it.
