I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Sarasota, FL) in Feb 2013
Interview
The business manager called me to set up an interview for a front desk sales position. Asked a few general questions on the phone about where I was located and if I have reliable transportation, what kind of hours I was looking for, and if I was comfortable with sales and people. I agreed and we set up a time to meet three days from the initial phone call. The interview was a two-part process. The first interview is really more of a debriefing, telling you about the position and the kind of work you'll be doing, and seeing if you're still interested. I got a sales script to go home with and study and was told to call back when I thought I had it down. Went to second interview and presented my mock sales pitch to the business manager. I was offered employment after the second interview was over.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Massage Envy (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2012
Interview
Not really a lot to say. They are a good company for a massage therapist. San Antonio is a nice city to be a massage. I'm not certain what else to say here. There might better locations but this was ok. The interview process was easy. Mostly just get along with the interviewer
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
It was a group interview with 6 people total. I think they are looking for the kind of people who aren't awkward and can hold a flowy conversation on the spot. Everyone took turns answering simple questions. At the end they call you in by twos and they tell you if you will proceed to the next interview or not. If you do, then they give you a whole page to memorize for next time (they give you like 4 days). The paper is just examples of what you will need to learn if you get the job. "how was your massage? Are you interested in our membership program?" etc...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most important question was: Sell me something that is in your purse. Everyone pulled out something different and went around the room trying to "sell" their product to the interviewer. They mainly care about sales so make sure to nail this part
