I applied online. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Allentown, PA)
Interview
I applied online and was contacted to come in for an interview. I was in a group interview of sorts- The manager was interviewing myself and another candidate at the same time. We were asked about our sales experience, personal strengths, and tactics. Then we were asked if we had any questions for them. Then we were given a two-page example conversation of how to sell memberships when checking customers out after their massage. We were supposed to memorize it and contact them once we felt comfortable with our memorization, and at that time we would present it before the manager and assistant manager. I did not contact them again because the location was an hour away from my home. The salary was $9/hr plus $10 commission for every membership sold. But the manager was really nice and overall it was pretty informal.

Question 1
What is your sales experience, why do you want to work here
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Massage Envy
Interview
I called my local Massage Envy to see if they were hiring. They were. I left my name and number and they told me the manager would call me the next day. She didn't, so I decided to go in person. She greeted me very quickly, but told me she'd make sure she would call me the next day for the phone interview. She did. She just asked me about my availability, salary and told me that this was a sales job. That I would need to sell there massage plans. She basically told me if I wasn't comfortable doing that then not to bother. She then gave me a date to go in and interview in person. She called me the day before the interview to reschedule, but by then I had read online that if you don't sell enough plans within the month you get fired so I called back and declined the interview.
