I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy (New York, NY)
Interview
I was called 3 weeks after applying. I went in and they asked me a few different questions regarding why I wanted to work there and why I wanted to be an esthetician. They also asked me for my availability. I specifically applied for part time due to my other job and needed it to fit into my already-made schedule, which they initially told me would be no problem. They told me they really liked me and even went ahead and set up a practical. Then, 30 minutes later they call and say the general manager actually specifically needs someone to work the worst hours: All Friday nights, all Saturday nights, and all day Sunday. This completely went around the availability I told them (I already work weekends at my other job) and they couldn't work with me at all, so I had to decline.
In a back small office with very basic entry level questions. Nice management but nothing exciting. You should have no problem getting the job if you are profesional and answer questions thoughtfully
I applied online. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Washington, DC) in Mar 2020
Interview
I waited for long time until an interviewer took me to interview. Beforehead I was given to fill in lots of pages , which may be useless if I refuse to work with them. In interview the interviewer was afraid to discuss the financial matters, as they pay so miserable sum of money , that they may never have enough LMTs to work there. Secondly, they do not have any K401. Who is gonna start with such a company which does not have any benefits. The only thing they promised was continuous education, but this is not an essential thing to survive. They are paying only 18 USD for a massage, the salary acceptable maybe just for recent graduates but not for people with experience for more than 5 years (in my case 8 years)
