I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Apr 2025
Interview
Lots of work, really incredible and interested interviewers. The interview process is mapped out transparently and structured in a way to help set you up for success. My recruiter was a phenomenal human being.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be ready to showcase a case study, explain decisions, go over project hiccups, and more.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Londres, Inglaterra) in Oct 2024
Interview
Recruiter screen, previous work presentation&critique, task, presentation, behavioural interview, design interview, leadership review.
The process took about a month.
I wouldn't try too hard - like any other big tech, how they evaluate you in the interviews is how you'd be evaluated for your performance reviews when you get in. If you don't score high on reviews you are out. (I used to work as a contractor so I know what actually happens) You either are one of those who'd thrive there or not. In hindsight, even if I got lucky and got accepted, I would have struggled to stay on.
Some of the interview questions I just didn't understand why they were asking me or what they were trying to evaluate.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you presented something to a large group of people with different levels of undertanding of the subject you're presenting? How did you ensure they understood?
What did you do when a company suddenly changes direction?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2025
Interview
Prepare slides with an introduction, a ten minute presentation on a content project you've worked on and a five minute presentation on a visual that moved a project forward. Then around 25 minutes on critiquing a product flow. The interview itself wasn't hard, but I was off my game for the product crit.

Question 1
They asked me how the user of the flow was feeling before they entered the flow.
