I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
The overall experiences are great and the data scientists interviewed me are very professional and friendly. I did not get the internship, and I suspect that because of my insufficient coding skills.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first assessed product intuition and the second assessed technical skills. Make sure you have a basic understanding of statistics, SQL, and Facebook's teams and products.
