I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meta (Mountain View, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Meta has a very standardized interview process. Mine was no different.
A recruiter contacted me and caught my interest. We then went through a technical phone screen before a virtual on-site. We used a crippled CoderPad for coding questions, Excalidraw for a system-design question, and a behavioral interview.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Londres, Inglaterra) in Feb 2025
Interview
Recruiter was super friendly. Was helpful and answered all questions and provided all information along with positive encouragement. Screening interview was meh but interviewer did the minimum. 2nd interview could have been better with more positivism and enthusiasm.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Seattle, WA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I went through a recruitment process that involved an initial call with a recruiter, followed by a technical screening, and then four final interview rounds. The technical screening was smooth, consisting of two questions in 40 minutes, both of which I successfully solved.
In the final rounds, there were two technical interviews, one system design interview, and one behavioral interview. The technical rounds followed a similar process to the technical screening. However, I found the system design interview challenging as I struggled to come up with a design and explain it clearly. The behavioral interview went well, consisting of four questions aimed at understanding my work style and how I solve challenges. they were using coderpad for technical questions
