I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Meta in Nov 2015
Interview
The first part was about 10 minutes of talking. Italked about one past project I did and its greatest challenge, and I also learned more about interviewer when he was an intern. Then it was 30 minutes of 2 technical questions. At the end, there were 5 minutes to ask any questions I had.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Given an array of ints, print out true if 3 of them add up to 9
Q: Printed out a linked list in reverse order
The technical round hit me with a classic array manipulation problem: moving zeroes to the end without disrupting the order of non-zero elements. As I tackled it, I felt a wave of familiarity wash over me; I had just practiced a similar challenge on PracHub. The rest of the interview followed a straightforward path, with some easy behavioral questions sprinkled in. Overall, it felt very easy, but I wasn’t quite the right fit for what they needed, so I didn’t receive an offer.
