I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Applied on the career portal and made it through the screening in about 3 weeks. Onsite was slightly rigorous - found the product sense and analytical thinking rounds particularly challenging - requires good understanding of users, product strategy, data and a lot of other things to help in decision-making. Thankfully I had practiced on platforms like Prepfully, which offers tailored mock interviews with experienced Meta PMs (look for the most reviewed, thank me later). And also, going through blind and reddit to understand the peer experiences - turns out to be very helpful!

Interview
nice and structured interview process focussed on product case, analytics, and design. The interviewer was friendly and helpful to guide the conversation in the right direction. Overall it was a great experience.
I had a recruiter screen that was a 15 minute phone call followed by a conversation with the hiring manager that was 30 minutes over Zoom. I didn't make it to the next step of the interview loop
