I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Sep 2025
Interview
5 rounds total: recruiter intro, phone with pm, then onsite loop (sense, execution, leadership & drive), and final chat with hiring manager. felt more like conversations than grill sessions tbh. product sense was all about designing in open ended spaces - got one around social travel + another on improving birthdays lol. execution was actually where they really pushed on metrics: ad revenue down 20%, what do you do? how to set targets for notifications? leadership was pure behavioral - motivating teams, dealing with conflict, coaching someone struggling. hiring manager was more culture/fit and alignment with meta’s direction (ai, ar/vr, creator economy stuff came up). prep that worked for me: frameworks from product alliance to keep answers structured, but honestly most useful was doing mocks with ex-meta folks on prepfully because they force you to think out loud clearly. overall process felt transparent, every interviewer explained what they wanted upfront which made it easier to stay calm. feedback was fast (3 biz days)
Straightforward, 4 interviews plus one more with HR. Every interview focuses on a different area, such as cross collaboration between teams, communication style, project manager related style questions... They also provide resources in the career website
