I was told the interview would focus on my experience, but instead it was a series of rapid-fire LeetCode questions. The interviewer was not the person I was scheduled to meet, gave no introduction, left mid-interview without explanation, and told me not to explain my thought process but just to paste code.
The entire experience felt impersonal and disorganized. I prepared based on the recruiter’s description, only to be blindsided by a completely different format.
If you value transparency or meaningful technical discussions, I’d think twice before investing time here.
Video call, kind of intense! Definitely be prepared with the knowledge you know and I’d brush up on the software/programs they use or mention in the job description. Have a good understanding of what they’re expecting and be able to explain what your current role is and give in depth explanation of the tools/programs you are currently using.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nasdaq in May 2023
Interview
The interviews consisted of a screening call with a talent acquisition person, and then two virtual rounds, first with a team lead and manager, then with manager and senior manager. The TA person established the pay and benefits prior to any interviews, so subsequent interviews were more about my experience and personality.
