In my interview, they threw a bunch of questions at me about finance, Python, and probability. It was like a rapid-fire quiz, jumping from financial concepts to coding in Python, and then tackling probability problems. Made me think on my feet, but it was pretty interesting to mix all these topics in one go. Definitely not the usual interview stuff!
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Nasdaq (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
The recruiter set up the interview via zoom. It was easy to set up the appointment time to meet with two people in the department. My first step was to have a phone screening with the recruiter

Question 1
What do you think that you can bring to the role?
Why do you want to leave your current position?
Interview process was fairly straight forward. Including a couple of screening interviews and follow up interviews with team members and managers. Overall most interactions were genuine. The process could have been faster, but was a good experience overall
