The role was posted as a contract but later described as a fixed-term position, with a budget so low it would not be competitive for a senior professional. I went through the process, not knowing if the budget had been addressed.
There were three interviews, including the initial screening with the recruiter. Scheduling was quick, but the process itself was not well managed. The interview with the hiring manager and one of their peers lasted only 30 minutes, felt rushed, and left no time for questions — not enough depth for a senior-level role. The final interview was unexpectedly with a senior leader from a different team, which seemed unrelated to the position.
After the final round, there was no communication for over two weeks. When I followed up, I received a quick rejection, with the reason being they had chosen another candidate, which is ok. However, the role was reposted shortly afterward.
Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me disappointed.
