I had one HR phone screen, one hiring manager phone screen, and then progressed to a full day of panel interviews with 4+ XFN leaders that took about 6 hours total

Question 1
tell me about why Netflix? Why did you move from this product area to another?
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Netflix (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
The first step of the process is for their Talent Acquisition team to reach out to you. After a fairly light discussion, they schedule 5 interviews, including the hiring manager. During the first discussion, they will send you a link to their culture memo. I would strongly recommend to review their culture memo and really dive in. They put a lot of stock into their culture - they look at it as their differentiation from other companies. Depending on your perspective, this can be a good thing or not. The interviews are 30 minutes each, which is relatively shorter than my experience at other companies. Once you get through the first 5 interviews, they evaluate the candidates, and if you make it through, you get 5 more interviews, also at 30 minutes each. I was actually impressed how quickly the process was - from setting up the interviews, I had my first one days later. They are very efficient. Even after making their decision, they provided constructive feedback instead of ghosting, which as a candidate is quite helpful.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Netflix (Singapura) in Apr 2022
Interview
The process through the rounds was very quick and organised. Each round was 30 mins except for the case study review which was 45 mins to an hour. The recruiter was very responsive until after the final round and then she just didn’t reply me back. I’ll just assume that they’ve decided not to proceed
