Interview
Started with a standard HR screening process. Short 15 minute call to see why I was interested, salary and a bit of my experience. She also detailed out the interview process going forward:
1. 30-40 zoom interview
2. 30 technical interview
3. 45 minutes Presentation interview
4. 30 minutes VP
Everything seemed fine. I did get to go to the first interview, however I did not love the experience with the interviewer (l I think he would have been my supervisor) he seemed like he was in a hurry and had something better to do than be on the call.
He asked many standard behavioral questions but he seemed like he just wanted to go through them quickly instead of hearing my stories and elaborate on them. I think he wasn’t too convinced of my experience given I come from a technical support background and he might have been looking for someone with more pre-sales background (but that’s just a guess).
The next day I got the email that I would not be moving forward. At least they contacted me…

- what compensation/salary are you expecting? (This one kinda threw me off because they asked me again after the HR screening process)

Interview
HR explained clearly the process and steps of the journey. I had around 5 rounds of interviews with Sales team colleagues, seniors and manager. I did technical challenge exercise where I had showcase Okta capabilities with sales as main focus.
